The distinguished firm of McSwain Nagle Giese & Rapp, P.C., is thrilled to announce the hiring of an experienced associate attorney, Tyler Neher. The firm is excited to onboard this accomplished attorney to add to an already impressive lineup of lawyers who are ready to help with matters related to family law and more.
Mr. Neher joins the firm with impressive experience working as an associate attorney at a family law office in Cook and DuPage County, where he helped clients address a variety of divorce and family law-related matters. Before working in the area of family law, Mr. Neher worked as a prosecutor in the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office on domestic violence cases. He developed notable trial experience through his work there, showing off his preeminent litigation skills in the courtroom. Mr. Neher obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and his J.D. from Northern Illinois University.

McSwain Nagle Giese & Rapp, P.C. is pleased to welcome Attorney Hannah McKinney Kingrey as an associate attorney as of October 2022. Hannah concentrates on all areas of domestic relations law including divorce, post-decree modifications, child custody disputes, and pre and post-nuptial agreements. Hannah also handles probate matters.
Hannah’s background, skills and versatility as an attorney make her a valuable addition to the firm. While her record in the courtroom is impressive, so is her proven ability to help clients resolve their disputes through mediation and negotiation. Hannah’s ability to streamline the process of a family law case in order to achieve faster, more favorable and less uncertain results for clients shows Hannah’s skills as an advocate in or out of court. Even during law school, Hannah’s excellent courtroom advocacy skills led her to become an octofinalist in the National Child Welfare and Adoption Moot Court Competition. She attended law school at The John Marshall Law School and graduated in 2015.

The law firm of McSwain Nagle Giese & Rapp, P.C. is excited to announce their merger with Kane County Bar Association President Attorney Emily Rapp of MagnusonRapp, LLC. The merged firm, McSwain Nagle Giese & Rapp, P.C., will consist of four experienced partners and six associate attorneys with distinct and varying legal backgrounds. The firm dedicates its legal efforts to family law matters, criminal proceedings, real estate closings, estate planning, and bankruptcy cases.
Attorney Emily Rapp is an established and trusted attorney in Kane and DuPage Counties and the surrounding areas. Her position as the President of the Kane County Bar Association exemplifies her commitment to the legal profession and families of Illinois. She has been recognized by her peers for her outstanding dedication to family law matters on numerous occasions, and she has been named an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Emily is an active member of the legal community serving as vice-chair of the DuPage County Bar Association’s Family Law Committee and as a member of the Family Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association.
