Ms. Meza brings a thoughtful, practical approach to client representation and is known for thorough preparation and zealous advocacy. She regularly guides clients through sensitive, high-stakes family matters with steady counsel and a focus on realistic outcomes. Before joining Nagle & Giese, P.C., she worked for another family law firm where she gained valuable experience negotiating settlements, preparing cases for hearings, and drafting pleadings and motions.
Ms. Meza earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she is able to reach clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, helping her clients navigate the complexities of the family law courts.

Lisa M. Giese, Jane E. Nagle, and Katherine Haskins Becker were named Super Lawyers, while Hannah McKinney Kingrey earned recognition as a Rising Star.
Lisa M. Giese has been recognized as a Super Lawyer annually since 2019 and a Rising Star from 2013-2018. She brings more than two decades of legal experience to her practice and is a trained Guardian ad Litem in DuPage, Kane, Cook and Will counties. Ms. Giese has also demonstrated leadership within the legal community through her current service on the Board of Directors for DuPage Legal Aid and prior service on the Boards of Directors for both the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and the DuPage County Bar Association as well as her involvement with the Family Law and Child Law Section Councils of the Illinois State Bar Association. Ms. Giese currently serves as the chair of the Child Advocacy Committee for the DuPage County Bar Association and is a regular presenter at various bar association programs.
Jane Nagle, a founding partner of Nagle & Giese, P.C., currently serves as Director on the board of the DuPage County Bar Association. She is the Chair of the ISBA Illinois Bar Journal and an active member of the editorial board for the DCBA Brief in DuPage Countywhere she has had articles published. Ms. Nagle has also served as the Chair of the Family Law Section council for the DCBA where she planned and held the Guardian ad litem training program. Ms Nagle has been recognized as a Super Lawyer annually since 2024 and a Rising Star from 2018-2023.

Nagle & Giese, P.C. is heartbroken to announce the tragic murder of Ashley A. Stewart, a client of the firm. She was allegedly killed at the hands of her ex-husband, Ryan Dodd, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the day before the parties were scheduled to appear in Court to address Mr. Dodd’s alleged refusal to pay child support. Ashley, a mother of six children who had remarried and was building a new life for herself and her family, was attacked and murdered in her garage. Dodd was charged with first degree murder, home invasion, armed violence, residential burglary, and aggravated stalking.
Ashley was scheduled to graduate with a bachelor’s degree on May 9, 2026. She had recently taken the LSAT, a step toward her goal of becoming an attorney. Nagle & Giese, P.C. represented Ashley in her post-decree divorce proceedings, standing by her side as she demonstrated remarkable strength and a determination to secure a stable future for her family.
This incident underscores the urgent need for awareness of domestic violence, which can escalate unchecked during family disputes. The team at Nagle & Giese, P.C. believe that Ashley’s story is a painful reminder that stalking, harassment, and lethal violence can affect anyone, and immediate action and support is essential for survivors.
